In 2025, I sent out 356 poems as birthday gifts to friends who share their birthdays on Facebook. (On nine days of the year, I have no friends with birthdays shared there.) I chose three poets three times: Gabrielle Calvocoressi, Jane Zwart,and Linda Hogan. I chose twenty-two poets twice: A. E. Stallings, Amjad Jabari, Bex Hainsworth, Caiti Quatmann, Cindy Veach, Clay Matthews, Deborah Garrison, Emily Rose Cole, Gregory LeStage, John Gallaher, Kenneth Pobo,Laura Hannett, Marissa Glover, Paul Stephenson, Paula R. Hilton, R. Nikolas Macioci, Sara Cassidy, Sofia Fall, Sydney Lea, Terrance Hayes, Traci Brimhall, and Veronica Tucker.
