Don Q, they say, does not fall asleep. He blinks, they say, like anyone else would. He closes his eyes, they say, in order to concentrate on what he's being told. He leans his head over, they say, to stretch his neck, which is sometimes slightly stiff. He does not snore, they say, but only breathes loudly. He does not suddenly wake up, they say, then sit up with his eyes wide—no, they say, that is a sign that he has something important to say about what he just heard.
