In an advertisement by the Swedish energy company Vattenfall, the American actor Samuel L. Jackson offers his trademark language full of cussing to talk about the "motherfuckin' wind farms" he sees from the Danish shore: "Loud, ugly, harmful to nature. Who says that?" Of course, it is Donald Trump, the President of the United States, who is notoriously negative about windmills. After Jackson goes on to praise wind farms, he concludes with a wonderful example of how pronunciation and emphasis can change meaning: his repetion of "motherfuckin' wind farms" with two distinct intonations marks the first as negative and the second as surprising (with a grin and his eyebrows raised).
