It was a cold, rainy night, so Snoopy had to sleep inside his dog house. But when he woke up and looked out at the rainy morning, he had a cold anyway. So he didn't go up to the top of his doghouse with his typewriter. He had wanted to write something about the demonstrations in Plunderland against Don Q, which he had been following with great interest. But now he wasn't up to writing anything at all. Reading about how Don Q called the peaceful demonstrations violent riots by terrorists just exhausted him.
