He could hear Small urging his listeners to start listening to the people who see what Don Q tells them to see. Small went on to urge his listeners to stop listening to the people who use pronouns. "If you listen to the people who use pronouns," Small said, "then the people who see what Don Q tells them to see will be uncomfortable.
