I first got my hair dyed in September 2019. It was only three stripes on one side, two red stripes with a black stripe in the middle. I did it just for fun, but I liked it, so since then I have often gotten my hair dyed when I get a haircut. The last few times, I had red on top and orange on the sides, but this time I've gotten violet on top, red on one side, and and orange on the other. One reason to choose those colors is that they are the longest-lasting dyes my hairdresser has, so these will be my colors for a couple of months. (Andrew Shields, #111Words, 4 May 2026)
