The football match scheduled for this evening in Thun between FC Thun and FC Basel was cancelled this morning. It wasn't that the pitch was in poor condition, nor was it that the weather would have made it impossible for the players to play without worrying about getting injured. The cancellation was caused by a fire in the stadium—but oddly enough, the fire was not in Thun's Stockhorn Arena, but in Basel's St. Jakob Park.
