On 22 January 2025, the Finnegans Wake Reading Group in Basel reached page 100 of James Joyce's novel, with a paragraph about "onestone" (100.26): Albert Einstein. Now, on 30 September 2026, we reached page 150, having just found Einstein again in the "theorics of Winestain" (149.28). This page also refers to "Bitchson" (Henri Bergson) and to Marcel Proust through his title "À la recherche du temps perdu": "[...] who the lost time we had the pleasure we have had our little recherché brush with, what, Schott?" (149.23-24). "Schott" is the Nova Scotian Wyndham Lewis, whose "Time and Western Man" (1927) criticized Joyce, Proust, Bergson, and Einstein for their understanding of time.
