On Saturday evening, I forgot to take my medication for hay fever (a pill, an inhaler, and a nasal spray). Often, when I forget, it's a sign that my hay-fever season is coming to an end. After all, I take the meds in the evening, and if I don't notice them wearing off the next evening, that might mean I don't need them anymore. I was a little surprised that it would be this early in the year, but yesterday in the late afternoon, I noticed I needed them. And now, in the early evening, I have noticed that I need them again. Usually, my hay-fever season ends sometime in June. (Andrew Shields, #111Words,18 May 2026)
