Although he wrote all the time (stories, letters, a diary, an unfinished draft of a novel), Franz K. had only published a few stories here and there, as well as one short collection of short fiction, so he was surprised when he received an email from someone offering to write a Wikipedia page about his work. He was even more surprised when his correspondent referred to his "exceptional contributions to quantum physics, quantum optics, and quantum information science." But then he remembered the other Franz K., who was indeed one of the world's leading researchers in quantum cryptography.
